District Sound



District Sound is the recording alias of Washington DC based DJ/Producers, Ackshun Jackson and DJ Psycle. The partnership formed in late 2001 and immediately began to turn out remixes and party tunes that became anthems at select clubnights from DC to Baltimore. Basically, District Sound represents jungle music without any rules. This is raw music with total disregard for any kind of sampling laws or genre lines. Hip-hop, soul, funk, pop, metal, R&B, jazz will all be slammed up against the wall and painted by dirty basses and bust-out beats.
